This week we continued in our study of Peter’s first sermon—yes, I know… this is becoming a thing! Well, listen, we like to take our time and really dig into the Word, and the class is discussion-based. So, you might as well grab a cup of your favorite beverage, a Bible, and a notepad for this week’s lesson!
Ok, this week, we looked at the verses Peter quoted from the Psalms and discussed how he was using proper Jewish Midrashic technique in tying the two passages together. And then… a rabbit trail about what happens to the soul at death and what was Jesus doing after His death, but before His Resurrection. We got into some deep weeds, and we were all challenged to do some searching in the Scriptures. I hope you will join us in doing your own research!
